The word of the day is...

Sullen is a good word.
Well... it's not a GOOD word.
But it's an excellent underused "describing my bad mood" word.

Say it with me...

Been sullen and morose.

These verses helped me greatly:

Isaiah 60:1-3 [ AMPLIFIED ]

ARISE [ from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you--rise to a new life ]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [ all ] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [ O Jerusalem ], and His glory shall be seen on you.

And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

Good words...

I'm lucky that sullen doesn't last long for me. But it certainly does stink as a mood.

Sulen is the worst. Some people get stuck in that spot.

I think you need to be sullen at times to understand the meaning of being content.

btw

Like your new blog setup
but
what's an arhive?

Ha,,, the arhive thing... it's a pre-done blog template I found that I like. I saw the spelling mistake but can't do anything about it...

I like the blog look enough to live with the spelling! Ha.

I think that there is very little you can do about where your flesh goes with it's feelings initially. we wake up in all sorts of moods for all sorts of reasons...

but I think we're supposed to take captive of our thoughts and make them obedient to Christ. If we don't, we get stuck in sullen. And that sucks.

Like I went out with a friend for lunch and talked about the Kingdom of God over burgers... and just speaking about life and faith make the "sullen" lift. God's good
